Texts Since Pablo Has Found Out About The Blog

Editors note:  I'm now going to start bolding and italicizing the obvious misspellings and grammatical errors.

So he's sent some real gems in the past few days, but I'm now questioning the validity of them.  Is he doing it now to be funny?  Maybe he loves the limelight and just wants more?  I don't know.  But regardless of that, I'm going to share a few from the past few days:

Text from Pablo:  Gotto time to celebratrf to nite brody jus sing the pappers for our new apt...

What he meant to say:  Got time to celebrate tonight brody?  Just signed the papers for our new apt.

Text from Pablo:  You homo bro?

What he meant to say:  It doesn't matter, this one is awesome regardless.

Text from Pablo:  I read  th3e blog page and cant stop laghing brody ..its the tfuuniest i red in a long time.

What he meant to say:  OK this one isn't that bad, you can figure it out.

Didn't want this to get stale, I'm sure they'll be plenty more in the near future.

Actual text:  Anothe4r at the creek.

What he meant to say:  Another fight at the creek.  (referring to our condo complex named "Pheasant Creek")

It's not even close!  Seriously, what the fuck?!

What he meant to say:  Morning bro.....i'm as sick as a dog.

Welcome to my world. 

Introduction

This is a blog about my neighbor and very good friend who completely sucks at texting.  We'll call him "Pablo F" to protect his innocence and privacy.

Pablo F is a complete mess when it comes to any type of communication via the phone.  Do I love him?  Of course I do, I don't think any less or more of him for his complete ineptness at texting.  I understand it's a new technology that's just catching on.  Maybe he needs a few more years to adapt to the change?  I don't know.  Maybe all his skills went into cooking?  (Pablo is a damn good chef for the record)

This blog will be a written record for what I deal with on a daily basis when it comes to Pablo and texting.  It's part sharing the laugh with me and part sharing the pain of me trying to decipher what he's actually trying to say. 

Hopefully he won't stop doing so and will embrace this new found fame.
